Ostrall UK earns nothing from the links in its results today. We are not a member of any affiliate programme, and no shop pays us to appear in our results or to rank higher.
How Ostrall UK links to shops
When you choose a shop, we send you straight to that shop's own website, where you buy directly from them. Today those are plain links: they carry no tracking code that identifies Ostrall, and the shop doesn't pay us when you buy.
If that changes
To keep Ostrall UK free, we may later join affiliate programmes run by shops or networks that serve the UK. If we do:
- some links will earn us a commission when you buy. You will not pay any more because of it;
- we will update this page first, list the programmes we belong to and add the wording they require (for example, as an Amazon.co.uk Associate we would state that we earn from qualifying purchases);
- links that can earn us money will be clearly labelled where they appear, so the commercial relationship is never hidden, in line with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising (CAP Code) and the Advertising Standards Authority's and Competition and Markets Authority's guidance on affiliate marketing.
Our ranking promise
Ostrall ranks shops by what matters to you: the right product, whether you can buy it now, and the price delivered to you. Whether a shop pays us will never decide a product's or a shop's position in our results, and we will never hide a cheaper shop because it doesn't pay us.
