1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of uk.ostrall.com ("Ostrall UK", "we", "us", "our"), the UK edition of Ostrall, operated by Jarta Labs LLC (USA). By using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What Ostrall UK is

Ostrall UK is a free search and comparison tool. It helps you work out what you need, compares shops that sell to the UK and links you to them. We do not sell anything. Any purchase is between you and the shop, under their prices, delivery, returns, guarantee and terms, and your statutory rights as a consumer (for example under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) apply to that purchase and are owed to you by the shop.

3. Prices and product information

Prices, availability, delivery costs, ratings and product details come from shops and other third parties. Prices are shown in pounds sterling as the shop lists them, which for consumers should include VAT. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and shops can change them at any time. The price and terms at the shop's checkout are the ones that apply.

4. How results are ranked

Ostrall ranks results by these main parameters, in this order: how closely a product matches what you searched for, whether you can buy it now, then the cheapest price delivered to you. Labels such as "cheapest" describe the information we have; they are not a promise that a product suits you. No one can pay to change a product's or a shop's place in our results. Star ratings and review counts shown next to a product are the shop's or its sellers' own; we do not write, buy or edit reviews.

5. Links to other sites

Ostrall UK links to shop and other websites we do not control. Their content, policies and practices are their own. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

6. Acceptable use

Please use the site as a normal shopper would. You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl or copy the site or its results by automated means, or use it to build a competing product;
• send automated or bulk searches, ratings or other traffic, or feedback meant to mislead our results;
• try to break, overload, probe or get around the site's security; or
• use the site for anything unlawful.

We may limit or block access that breaks these rules.

7. Your feedback

When you rate a result or pick a reason, you allow us to use that feedback to improve Ostrall, without payment or attribution. Our Privacy Policy explains what is recorded.

8. Intellectual property

The Ostrall name, logo, design and site content belong to Jarta Labs LLC. Product names, brands and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify products; showing them does not mean those owners endorse or are affiliated with us.

9. Your rights under consumer law

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right you have as a consumer that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited, and nothing in them excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. The rest of these Terms apply only to the extent the law allows.

10. Our liability

Subject to section 9, the site is provided free of charge and "as is". We do not promise that it will always be available or error-free, and we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for losses arising from information that comes from shops or other third parties, or for a purchase you make from a shop.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and the mandatory consumer law of the part of the UK where you live still applies to you.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the updated Terms.
